Monthly Premiums

Per Employee

Premiums are based on the number of Employees in a Group, payable monthly in arrears, on or about the 15th day of the following month. Program administrators will be provided with a payment schedule and premium spreadsheet for easy calculation.

optional Spouse

A "Spouse" is defined as a person who is under the age of 75, resides in Canada and: (a) to whom the Participant is legally married; (b) to whom the Participant is married by a marriage that is voidable and has not been declared null and void; or (c) with whom the Participant has continually cohabited and has been publicly represented as the Participant's spouse for a minimum of 12 months immediately before a loss is incurred.

optional DEPENDENT CHILD/CHILDREN

"Dependent Child" is any natural child, step-child, or legally adopted child of the Participant &/or Participant's Spouse, who receives support and maintenance from the Participant, resides in Canada as is: (a) under 21 years of age and unmarried; or (b) 21 years of age but less than 25 years of age, unmarried, and is in full-time attendance at a School for Higher Learning; or (c) mentally or physically infirm.
